My commitment

I aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments.

What I do to support accessibility

  • Use clear, readable text with sufficient color contrast against its background.
  • Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Build with a logical heading structure and keyboard-navigable links and controls.
  • Design mobile-first so pages work across devices and screen sizes.
  • Use visible focus indicators so keyboard users can see where they are.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. I review the Site periodically and work to correct issues as I find them or as they are reported. Some older content or third-party tools embedded in the Site may not yet fully meet every standard, and I am working to improve them over time.
